Fair Consumption

As an individual, it may feel difficult to make a difference. That’s why Löfbergs is a reliable choice, making it easy for you to enjoy coffee in a fair and responsible way. By choosing ethically produced coffee, reducing waste, and recycling packaging, you help ensure that we don’t waste the planet’s resources unnecessarily. Together, we contribute to a world where both people and coffee can thrive.

Packaging

The primary purpose of packaging is, of course, to protect the coffee and preserve its flavors and aromas. While packaging accounts for only a small portion of our climate impact, we are actively working to develop new, smart solutions that are even better for the environment.

Easy to do right.
How to recycle your coffee packaging.

Ground Coffee

The packaging is made of plastic (about half of which comes from renewable raw materials) and a thin paper wrapper. This combination reduces the amount of plastic while ensuring that flavors and aromas remain intact.

Help us recycle by sorting the bag as plastic and the wrapper as paper.

Whole Beans

The packaging consists of multiple layers of plastic (about half of which comes from renewable raw materials). This ensures flavor, aroma preservation, and safe, efficient handling. The same material is also used for some of our ground coffee for cafés and restaurants.

Help us recycle by sorting it as plastic.

New Packaging for Whole Beans

We have begun the transition to renewable and recycled packaging materials according to the mass balance principle. This is an important step toward our goal of ensuring that all our packaging can be materially recycled, contributing to a circular economy.

Help us recycle by sorting it as plastic.

ICE

Our iced coffee is packaged in CartoCan®, a carton-based solution made from renewable raw materials. The packaging is produced, cut, and laminated in Värmland.

Help us recycle by sorting the carton as paper (the small tab on the lid should be recycled as metal).
